Sail Melbourne 2003 - Sail Melbourne`s web site very succesfull |
MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA-(20-12-2002) Sail Melbourne Website – www.sailmelbourne.com.au
Receiving over 1 million hits during last year’s regatta, the Sail Melbourne Website is a proven resource for sailors participating in the International Regatta. Constantly being updated, the Website will provide you with current information and is a fantastic reference tool for before, during and after the event. In particular, we’d like to draw your attention to the following Sail Melbourne Website features:
Competitor listing
Check out the competition BEFORE you hit the water! All competitors are listed for Olympic and Invited Classes, B.14 World Championship, Sail Melbourne’s Dinghy, Catamaran and Trailable Classics, Sail Melbourne Passage Race and the Capel Sound Cup. It’s also a great opportunity for you to ensure all your details are correct, so if they’re not, please let us know.
Accommodation
In addition to the Homestay program Sail Melbourne has been running this year, there are listings of commercial accommodation on the Website. Sectioned geographically it’s a great way to find out what accommodation options are available around the area you are racing in. Some establishments are offering Sail Melbourne competitors special rates so if you haven’t booked your accommodation, make sure you take advantage of this reference tool.
Weather
Forecasts for Port Phillip, Westernport and four-day outlooks are available through links on the Website as well as wind charts and tidal predictions. If you’re really keen to see what the Bay looks like before racing, check out the Sandringham Yacht Club webcam too!
Photos
An extensive gallery of photos will be posted throughout 2003 Sail Melbourne International Regatta – send links to your family and friends to share some of the action!
